How is a Breast Lift Performed?
A breast lift usually takes about two hours and can be performed in an outpatient surgical facility, an ambulatory surgical facility or a hospital, typically under local or general anesthesia. The surgeon will begin the breast lift with an incision, the location of which will depend on your breast size and shape, the amount of excess skin and other factors. Most commonly, a breast lift in Oklahoma City will require three incisions, including one along the breast crease.
Once the excess skin is removed, the breast tissue is reshaped and lifted, and non-removable sutures are layered deep within the breast tissue to create and support the newly formed breasts.
